Caterpillar Tunneling offers the customized design, manufacture, refurbishment and service of a complete line of tunneling equipment from 2m (6.6ft) in diameter and larger. While a significant amount of our TBMs are used to build metro, water main and sewer tunnels around the world, our machines are also used in the construction of road, penstock, mine access and telecommunications tunnels. Cat Tunnel Boring Machines are available in Earth Pressure Balance (Soft Ground & Mixed Face), Single Shield Rock, Double Shield Rock and Pipe Jacking configurations. |
